The Northfield Hospital Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is offering the initial certification course for Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). The 160-hour class will begin in February at Northfield Hospital’s EMS Station, 1600 Riverview Lane.
Students who successfully complete the course will be eligible to sit for the National Registry of Emergency Technicians practical and written exams. The curriculum is based on the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration National EMS Education Standards and includes lecture, practical skills, and field internship.
