The Northfield Hospital Emergency Medical Services (EMS) is offering the initial certification course for Emergency Medical Responder, formerly known as First Responder. The 64-hour class will begin in March at Northfield Hospital’s EMS Station, 1600 Riverview Lane.
Students who successfully complete the course will be eligible to sit for the National Registry of Emergency Technicians practical and written exams for Emergency Medical Responder. The curriculum is includes lecture, practical skills, and optional field internship.
