Book Fair Northfield Hospital Auxiliary

The Northfield Hospital Auxiliary was formed in 1951 to support the hospital’s efforts to meet the medical needs of the community. Over the years, the auxiliary's annual book fair has become its primary fundraiser and a signature Northfield event. Funds have been used to buy hospital equipment and furnishings for waiting rooms, children’s areas, and the skilled nursing facility. The Auxiliary awards competitive scholarships annually to selected students who are pursuing advanced study in health-related careers. It also supports the community's literacy program and a pharmaceutical assistance program for those in need. Past projects include the infant car seat program and Candy Stripers. Its members staff the hospital gift shop. Proceeds from the shop are used to support hospital programs.

Many volunteers are needed to help in April with the annual book fair. If you're willing, please call.
