How do I submit an application or resume to apply for a job opening?
We only accept applications through our on-line application. You are able to copy and paste your resume at the end of the on-line application form. A computer is available in Human Resources at Northfield Hospital. If you need assistance a Human Resources staff member will assist you with the on-line application, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
I received an error message when I clicked on ‘submit’ after I filled out the on-line application. What does this mean?
Most errors will take you to the field on the screen that needs to be fixed. If you receive the error <Y/y or N/n> then there is a field that was not answered with a yes or no that needs to be completed. If you receive the error <N—N> then there is an invalid symbol on your application, typically in the phone number field or salary field (i.e. do not use dollar signs). Fix these fields and then click ‘submit’.
How do I know if my application was received?
After you click ‘submit’, you will receive a message on the screen stating “Your request has been received and is being processed”. This indicates your application went through successfully.
I previously applied for a position at Northfield Hospital & Clinics, do I need to complete the on-line application again to be considered for another opening?
Yes, each time you want to be considered for an opening, you will need to complete the on-line application to express your interest in that opening.
Can I submit an application/resume to express my interest in future openings?
We only accept applications for our current openings, all of which are posted on our web site.
Will I receive any follow-up after my application is received?
We will send you communication to notify you we are reviewing your application.
How will I know if I was selected for an interview?
You will receive a call from us, typically within a few weeks of applying if you are selected for an interview.
What should I bring to an interview?
You may want to consider bringing copies of your resume and professional work/school references.
