No appointments are necessary.

Urgent care is delivery of ambulatory medical care outside of a hospital emergency department on a walk-in basis. Appointments are not necessary.

The scope of service is greater than that of a retail minute clinic, but more cost-effective and timely than a visit to a hospital emergency department.

Urgent care is equipped with radiology and laboratory services. Procedure rooms allow for treatment of minor and moderate-severity lacerations.

Urgent care is not meant to be a replacement for developing a relationship with a primary care provider. An urgent care center is a convenient option when your regular physician is on vacation or unable to offer a timely appointment. Or, when illness strikes outside of regular office hours, urgent care offers an alternative to long waits in metro hospital emergency rooms.
