The clinic is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, to receive telephone calls. If problems or questions arise during your pregnancy that require immediate attention before the next business day, please follow these instructions:

Call the general number for the Women's Health Center: 507-646-1478.

This call will be transferred after hours to our answering service. You will be asked to give your name and telephone number, and in most cases, a general description of your symptoms. The triage line is staffed with experienced nurses, and many of your questions may be answered in this manner. If your situation requires notification of the physician on call, your information will be forwarded to the physician, and you will receive a call back. Please note that in most cases, the on-call physician will not have access to your medical record, and you may need to answer questions regarding your pregnancy.

For any emergency requiring immediate attention, call 911 or report to the Emergency Department.
