Meet Gretchen Alaniz
Midwifery care is a collaborative partnership with the patient at the center, based on a shared decision-making process that supports the goals and preferences of the patient, with the best, evidence-based practices available. Developing a partnership based on trust and caring is central to my practice. I am grateful that I have a part in some of the most important moments in my patients’ and families’ lives. My goal is to provide the best, compassionate and individualized care I can, and have fun while doing it.
I love how unique and special each birth is. Being part of this journey with my patients is a true joy. As a Midwife, I feel we can make the world a better place, one birth at a time.
In my freetime, I love to walk – especially near water, try new restaurants & coffee shops, spend time with family & friends, travel, social activism and read – I’m always reading at least 3 different books. Did I mention Coffee?
