I enjoy working with patients who are hospitalized after orthopedic surgery or acute illness, helping them to return home safely and independently. Some patients need more time to recover and transfer to our hospital’s care center for rehabilitation. It is rewarding to work with them on strength, balance, walking and transfers so that they can regain their independence. In addition, home care physical therapy is very gratifying helping patients so that they can remain in their own home. A special interest of mine is neurorehabiliation including treatment of strokes and brain injury.
