No additional COVID vaccine available for first doses
FEBRUARY 19, 2021 -- Northfield Hospital + Clinics does not have COVID vaccine available for first doses after Tuesday, February 23. NH+C is not scheduling new appointments at this time. NH+C will reach out again when vaccine is available for first doses.
If you have an appointment scheduled for second dose, you will get your vaccine. Please keep your second dose appointment.
All appointments are filled for Friday, Feb. 19; Saturday, Feb. 20; and Tuesday, Feb. 23.
NH+C update on COVID vaccination for people 73 and older
FEBRUARY 18, 2021 -- COVID vaccination continues at Northfield Hospital + Clinics. All appointments are booked for Friday, February 19.
NH+C will be vaccinating 300 people on Friday, Feb. 19. We are scheduling appointments for Saturday, Feb. 20 and Tuesday, Feb. 23 at this time.
NH+C is contacting people 73 and older, in order of age (oldest first). Supply continues to be limited. The number of appointments depends on the amount of vaccine available. You must hear from us before scheduling an appointment. Please do not call.
NH+C update on COVID vaccination for people 75 and older
FEBRUARY 12, 2021 – COVID vaccination continues at Northfield Hospital + Clinics. All appointments are booked for Saturday, Feb. 13.
NH+C will be vaccinating over 450 people on Saturday, Feb. 13: Those 75 and older, plus a list of licensed daycare providers received from Rice County Public Health.

NH+C begins contacting patients 80+ to schedule COVID vaccination
FEBRUARY 2, 2021 -- NH+C is beginning to schedule COVID vaccination appointments and will continue in the coming weeks as vaccine supply becomes available.
On February 6, NH+C will begin vaccination appointments for individuals age 80 and older. The number of appointments depends on the amount of vaccine we have available.
Northfield Hospital + Clinics updates visitor restrictions
UPDATED MARCH 5, 2021 – Northfield Hospital + Clinics is allowing some visitors.
In clinics:
- Adult clinic patients may have one visitor
- Pediatric patients may have two parents or guardians (no siblings)
- People with disabilities or dementia may have one support person
- Pregnant patients may have one support person for OB appointments and ultrasounds

NO VISITORS ALLOWED at Northfield Hospital
NOVEMBER 16, 2020 – Northfield Hospital + Clinics no longer allows visitors at Northfield Hospital as of Tuesday, November 17.
NO VISITORS are permitted at Northfield Hospital.
Northfield Hospital + Clinics is prohibiting hospital visitors to protect patients and staff as COVID-19 cases rise across the region.

NH+C tightens visitor restrictions, reviews elective surgeries
NOVEMBER 9, 2020 – Northfield Hospital + Clinics is tightening visitor restrictions to protect patients and staff as COVID-19 cases rise across the region.
No visitors who are COVID-positive or have any COVID symptoms will be allowed under any circumstances. All persons are screened on entry for symptoms and temperature.
