DECEMBER 10, 2021 – The CDC added 16- and 17-year-olds to its recommendation for COVID-19 booster shots.

We encourage you to seek other options, too. You can get your booster shot someplace other than where you got your initial vaccination. Concerned about side effects? Monitoring for side effects is part of the vaccination process wherever you get your vaccination.

Local options include pharmacies, Rice County Public Health  and Dakota County Public Health. Sterling Pharmacy in Faribault and Wal-Mart in Faribault offer walk-in vaccination and boosters.
