Construction is now underway to expand downtown healthcare resources in the Sterling Pharmacy building on Division Street at 7th Street.
The building will house a new Express Care Clinic for Northfield Hospital + Clinics, delivering care for common illnesses with no appointment necessary in a convenient location and at convenient hours, including evenings and weekends.
The remodel also provides new clinic space for HealthFinders Collaborative, caring for individuals with limited healthcare alternatives. New, expanded space helps HealthFinders to better provide primary care, medication assistance, wellness education and advocacy.
The two new clinics will open in March 2018.
Sterling Pharmacy gets a makeover too, updating existing pharmacy and retail into a fresh new space.
The new hub was created through a unique three-way partnership between Sterling, which owns the building; HealthFinders, a non-profit whose current Northfield clinic is next door to Sterling; and NH+C, whose Express Care option will complement its 11 primary and specialty care clinics (including Urgent Care in Lakeville).
Collaboration between partners whose services complement each other improves coordination of services, and provides convenience for patients.
