I enjoy getting to meet patients, understanding more about them as a person and helping them resolve their issues. If it matters to the patient, then it means everything to me. I work for my patients. Many years ago, my oldest brother was diagnosed with melanoma at age 18. At that time, it seemed like one of the most scary diagnoses, but he’s done well. That is what motivated me to go into medicine.
