Rod Christensen, MD, is a retired physician who practiced family medicine in Northfield for 25 years. He finished his career in leadership roles at Allina Health. He moved with his wife and three sons to Northfield in 1987.

Rick Estenson is a retired banker for First National Bank of Northfield. Before that he was a manager in the brokerage industry for Wells Fargo and Piper Jaffray. He graduated from Luther College with and accounting degree, and has lived in Northfield for 34 years.

Michael Hemesath, currently serving NH+C as Chair of the board, is a professor of economics at Carleton College. He and his family have lived in Northfield for over 25 years.

Katie Lane is a Senior Account Manager at McKesson Medical-Surgical. She has over 10 years of experience in healthcare and medical supply distribution, focusing on technology and creating workflow efficiencies.

Crystal Mulvihill
Crystal and her husband Justin have lived in the Northfield area for 17 years. She has worked in Human Resources for almost 10 years, mostly in a generalist role supporting organizations with as few as 20 employees to over 1,200. In her free time, she enjoys watching her daughter and son play sports.

Jami Reister, MD
Jami Reister, MD, is a former family physician at Northfield Hospital + Clinics and currently serves as a city councilor and volunteer on a number of city boards and committees.
She and her husband, Randolph Reister, MD, have raised their three young adult children in the amazing Northfield community for the past eighteen years.

Fred Rogers
For a total of 35 years Fred Rogers served as Chief Financial Officer at three different institutions – Carnegie Mellon University, Cornell University and Carleton College – before retiring in 2020. In Northfield, he has served as a board member and President of the Northfield Economic Development Authority and is currently a board member and the past chair of the board of the Northfield Hospital + Clinics and a trustee of the First United Church of Christ. He is a member of the Northfield Rotary Club.

Jessica Peterson White
Jessica Peterson White represents the Northfield City Council as a trustee on the NH&C Board. She has served as Northfield's Ward 4 City Councilor since 2012, and in that capacity has served on Northfield's Economic Development Authority, Northfield Area Fire and Rescue Service board, and Convention and Visitors' Bureau board, among other boards and commissions. She owns and runs Content Bookstore in downtown Northfield, and is a graduate of Carleton College and the Humphrey School of Public Affairs at the University of Minnesota.
