Meet David Montag MD, MS

Philosophy of Care

My general philosophy on care is to establish a partnership with my patients and to explain/provide all possible treatment options for a broad range of general otolaryngology issues including hearing loss and other ear disorders, common pediatric problems like recurrent tonsil and ear infections, salivary gland disease, voice disorders, nose bleeds, recurrent or chronic sinus infections. I’ve cared for patients in a large urban, academic center where I led an ENT department for over 5 years as well as taught ENT residents for 7 years. Through all this, I provided outreach to a rural hospital two hours away where specialist care can be difficult to find. No matter the setting, my approach is always to listen and treat each patient with the kindness and respect that they deserve.

Personal Interests

I enjoy spending time with my wife, kids and dog. I also enjoy most outdoor activities like cross country skiing, trail running, any type of biking, and kayaking/canoeing.
