I grew up in a family that showed me daily, serving others is important work, which led me to a career in healthcare.  I became interested in OT in college when I watched the positive impact OT had on a family member to help them regain their independence and improve their quality of life at a time when they were experiencing losses of independence, dignity and their memories.  I strive to provide patients and families with the care, compassion and respect I would want my own family members to receive and value working in the community where we live.
