Philosophy of Care
I believe that lasting improvements in health occur when patients understand their conditions, feel empowered to make informed decisions, and are supported in making changes at a pace that is realistic and meaningful for them. My role is not simply to recommend treatments, but to help patients understand their options and work collaboratively to develop a plan that fits their individual circumstances. I provide comprehensive gastroenterology care, including both procedural services such as colonoscopy and upper endoscopy as well as outpatient management of conditions including inflammatory bowel disease, metabolic liver disease, and functional gastrointestinal disorders. I have a particular interest in colon cancer screening and prevention, as well as the growing impact of metabolic liver disease, where early identification and thoughtful intervention can make a profound difference in long-term health. Outside of medicine, I value time with my family, staying active through exercise, and spending time outdoors—interests that continually remind me of the importance of helping people maintain the health and quality of life needed to enjoy the things that matter most to them.
