Meet Dr. Nicole Dohm-Palmer

September 9, 2015

Nicole Dohm-Palmer, MD, an Obstetrics and Gynecology physician, joined Women’s Health Center on September 8. She will see women and adolescent patients at Women’s Health Center Northfield and FamilyHealth Medical Clinic – Farmington.

Dr. Dohm-Palmer comes to Women’s Health Center from United and Abbott Northwestern Hospitals, where she was an emergency obstetrician. She is board-certified as a Fellow in the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Dr. Dohm-Palmer earned her medical degree from the University of Minnesota and did her residency at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. She is also a graduate of Carleton College.

“I see myself as a partner with my patients to optimize health, choose treatments for problems, and promote healthy pregnancies for both moms and babies,” she says.

Dr. Dohm-Palmer learned early on that medicine allows her to apply her love of science with people.

“I am an extrovert at heart and love people. The most rewarding part of medicine is that I get to establish life-long relationships with my patients and positively impact their lives,” she says.

Her professional interests include delivering babies, minimally-invasive surgery including laparoscopy, endometrial ablations, and treatment for urinary incontinence.
