Philosophy of Care

My interest in medicine started early in life. As a teenager, I worked as a nursing assistant and quickly fell in love with caring for people – especially during their most vulnerable moments. One lesson that has always stayed with me from medical school is that patients often hold the key to their own diagnosis; as providers, our job is simply to listen. That belief has shaped how I practice medicine today. I truly value giving patients the time and attention they deserve, because that’s often when real healing begins. One of my favorite moments is when patients return with that “Ah-ha” glow – when they’ve made a positive change or are feeling genuinely better. It’s a wonderful reminder of why I chose this path in the first place.
