Meet Neel Markofski, OTR/L, CYT-230
Philosophy of Care
I am an Occupational Therapist with clinical experience across a variety of settings, including adult and pediatric acute inpatient rehabilitation, acute hospital care, and, most recently, outpatient pediatrics. I was drawn to occupational therapy by my love of connecting and collaborating with people to make a meaningful difference in their lives. My approach to care is holistic, neuro-affirming, and centered on each individual and their family. I value getting to know my clients and their families, understanding what matters most to them, and empowering them to engage in the activities and experiences that bring meaning and joy to their lives. In addition to being an Occupational Therapist, I am a certified yoga teacher. When appropriate and desired, I enjoy incorporating yoga-based techniques into therapy to support each client’s individual goals and needs.
