Hospital Auxiliary Book Fair runs April 24-28, 2018
It’s a sure sign of Spring: The annual Northfield Hospital Auxiliary Book Fair. The 2018 Book Fair will take place April 24-28 at the Northfield Ice Arena on Highway 3.
This is the year that the Book Fair will hit $1 million in total sales.
Now in its 57th year, the Book Fair has raised a total of $987,190 since 1961 – including a record $65,810 in sales last year.
The Book Fair fills the Northfield Ice Arena with more than 65,000 items, all of them donated by community members . . . and many of them back for resale again and again. Books, of course, and also CDs, DVDs, and vinyl. Credit and debit cards are welcome (because it just ain’t 1961 anymore).
The proceeds of the Book Fair support Hospital projects and scholarships. Last year, the Auxiliary bought a wheelchair-accessible van for the residents of the Long Term Care Center. They’ve made many trips around Northfield, including the Defeat of Jesse James Days Parade last fall.

Donation dates:
April 9-20: weekdays 9 am - 5 pm April 14: Saturday 10 am - 2 pm April 21: Saturday 9 am - 12 noon
Donations are accepted at the Ice Arena on Highway 3.
Sale dates:
April 24: 5 - 9 pm April 25-27: 9 am - 9 pm (Friday is 50% off day) April 28: 8 am – 3 pm ($5 bag sale 8 am – 12:30 pm; FREE books 1 pm – 3 pm)
