Music is a powerful tool for those at the end of life. Music can help to ease pain, comfort caregivers, serve as a tool for life review, and just bring a smile to someone’s face.
One of the most common requests from Northfield Hospice patients is someone to share music with them.
If you make music, [or simply like to listen,] you’re invited to volunteer with hospice patients.
Volunteers commit to one hour per week or more. Most volunteers see one patient per week, spending 30-60 minutes in the patient’s home.
Hey Lonsdale! We’re really excited to bring OB/GYN services to your neighborhood. Dr. Shannon Lau is seeing patients in the Lonsdale Clinic, providing expert care for women of all ages.
That’s great news for busy young families, and our longtime patients who appreciate the comfort and familiarity of their hometown clinic.
“I truly enjoy getting to know my patients and am grateful to be a part of their lives,” says Dr. Lau. She delivers babies and performs surgeries at Northfield Hospital.
