Registration is open for the Spring 2016 term for EMS Education Courses available through the Emergency Medical Services division of Northfield Hospital & Clinics.
Classes are designed for persons wishing to become certified first responders and/or emergency medical technicians.
This community tree-lighting event will be held on Tuesday, December 8th 6:00-6:30 p.m. in the Northern Lights Courtyard. Consider helping to make the season bright by sponsoring a light as a tribute to a special person in your life, a memorial to those you miss, or a thank-you for service and kindness. Donations can be made for a single light for $10 or a string of lights for $100. Proceeds for this event will help Northfield Hospice provide care and comfort to those with life-limiting illness. For more information, please contact Sara at Northfield Hospice (646-1457).
Psychologist Linda Lehmann will be the featured speaker at a bereavement informational meeting on Thursday, September 17, 6:30 to 8 p.m. in the Northfield Hospital Conference Center.
Lehmann’s presentation, “Grieving the Traumatic Death of a Loved One,” is a prelude to an optional eight-week grief support group offered by Northfield Hospice. Both events are free and open to the public.
