"Serves It Up" for cancer
Through its “Serve It Up for Cancer” fundraiser, the Northfield Raider girls’ tennis team raised money for local cancer patients and their families. Players organized the event for patients of Northfield Hospital’s Cancer Care & Infusion Center, rallying family members, friends, and community supporters around an important cause.
For the players, the fundraiser is a reminder that being part of a team also means finding ways to make a difference off the court. Their efforts, along with the generosity of family members, friends and community supporters, will help provide support to local cancer patients when they need it most.
