Stuffed Animal Drive for Kids in the ED
Small Comforts, Big Impact for Pediatric Patients
Every day in our Emergency Department, we care for children facing frightening and unfamiliar situations. Something as simple as a stuffed animal can provide comfort, reduce anxiety, and help them cope during difficult moments.
About 20% of our ED patients are children, where we focus on both their medical and emotional needs. Comfort items like stuffed animals and sensory tools play an important role in helping kids feel safe and supported. We need about 50 animals a month.
How you can help:
- Donate new small to medium stuffed animals. (Please note: we cannot accept used stuffed animals due to safety guidelines and no bigger than 12 inches high.)
- Provide fidget or sensory items
- Donate and we'll buy the stuffed animals for you. Donate Now
Stuffed animals can be dropped off at the front desk, attention NH+C Foundation.
A simple gift can make a big difference – helping turn a scary experience into one with comfort and care. Thank you for your support.
